ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Need info on Neptune Chipped ECU...

Does anyone know anything about Neptune? I was searching for a chipped p28 ECU to get for my F20B Motor. And stumbled on Neptune. Can anyone tell me anything about it. What is the Neptune RTP used for?

Dont know much about Neptune, but did you find your P28? Also did you know that you can also use a P06 and convert it to a P28. Just mentioning that because they are cheaper and easier to find

Yup I bought the P28 ECU already and will be getting it Thursday. I Got it for 80 dollars it was tested and working. But now I need to get it chipped so I can run my F20B motor correctly.

Neptune is like Hondata or Crome. just a tuning program i guess. the difference between the RTP is just so you can tune while the car is on and running

make sure your tuner can tune it before you buy it. You may want to make sure the Neptune software comes with it too.

I new issue can one use a chipped P28 ECU for an Automatic? I talked to a local shop and they were not sure due to wiring? Has anyone ran a chipped P28 on an Automatic?

yes, you can run a chipped p28 on an automatic but not many programs can operate the automatic correctly. Do lots of research before purchasing. Make sure the program compensates for automatic transmissions. Whether its an auto ecu or not doesn't really matter.

I just got done talking to a Netune and Yes, if I get a civic/integra ECU I can use the NepTune RTP system to change the mappings to fit the car or I can visit a dealer and have them do it for me.

Its all the same in my opinion. Its really all in the tuner if you ask me.
To the OP, if there isnt a tuner that works with neptune around your area, try Hondata. I think the s300 is very similar to the RTP. Like MRX mentioned, be sure to check and see if the program is compatible with automatics

Hondata does not work on automatic.
