ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

exhaust kit and how to install?

hey, im planning to install a new exhaust pipe on my CB7. i've been looking around and i've spotted a DC sports pipe. Im planning to buy it this june but frankly i dont know how to install it. I looked under the CB7 and i see theres like this junction where the pipe is connected to the system.....so, my question is, how am i going to install a new pipe and which brand should i get?

As far as brand i would stick with apexi, dc, gready, skunk-2 those are the name brands ebay ones are cheap but tend to fall appart fast. An exaust install is pretty straight forward you just lift the car un bolt old/stock exaust and do the reverse for installing the new exaust.
    F22b + MP1A = mad fun for me now. . .

Exhaust pipe are the piping. Muffler is the structure at the end of an exhaust pipe.

man 140 for muffler? just got buy the whole catback system and gut the stock muffler.
and if ya have the money to go buy the performance muffler, go right ahead.

but the piping is where all the performance is in an exaust, and u get what you pay for.

www.nopi.com is a good sight to see what you need or just get the idea of some exaust or other stuff. I wouldnt suggest buying unless u have a pretty penny.

you'll want to be prepared to possibly heat up/cut off some bolts/ smack stuff really hard with a hammer. Rusty stuff that hangs under the car, made of mild steel is never the easiest thing to take off. I just plan on having my dremel on the ready when i do mine, i anticipate having to cut a few bolts. No problem for me, but obviously go for the wd40 first, try to get it loose, then possibly heat it up. If that still doesnt work, just cut it.
