ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    problems with my accord

just brought my accord a few months ago, when i brought it the car was a mess harness cut, computer mssing, ...... it was a mess over all. so i rebuild the engine and tranny but now the problem starts. i do not know what year motor is in their. because now i am trying to find a vtec harness, the motor is vtec but i am hearing that those years donot come with vtec. so i do not know what harness to buy. im new to this honda game so plz help

if you already have a harness then just use that one and add the wires for VTEC...it's 3 wires I believe.

if you dont have a harness yet, get one from a 94-95 Accord EX which is OBD1 and came with the F22B1 vtec engine.

if you can, get a picture of the engine, that would help a bunch.

well the car is a mess. just put in the lights, grill, a/c, Generator, radiator, a/c condenser, but still having problem with the engine harness. The reason I do not want to use this harness, is the fact that it is cut, missing connector, miss-match color wires. Its just trash. But I did look at the block; I believe it said F22 b1 or f22 b7. also im going to need help with these vaccum liines

that is defiantly out of a 94-95 accord ex so look for that kind of harness.

Yeah, when I put the new engine in my Supra its old harness was so f^%ked up I just ordered a brand new factory one. Saves alot of head aches and you know it has another 100,000+ miles of life left in it!
You'll want that 94,95 Accord harness and ECU and you'll be good. Pretty easy, dont sweat it

f22b is a decent motor but doesnt have as much future capabilities because of smaller head ports and intake manifold ports.

So cant i just port and polish the head and manifold inorder the increase the airflow. based on the spec of the more it should be one of the better ones out their, or is the air flow in the head just that bad.
