ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

no 6cyl has been put in an accord as of yet...

but in general? True duals aren't beneficial from what I've seen...X pipes are better...or duals with a connecting pipe could call it H pipe

X pipe would be useless on 4cyl. Stick with the single exhaust.

strictly cosmetic - it will have no affect other than an annoyance and might get you some ricer jabs along the way

duals on a turbo is one thing...duals on an N/A are pointless and reduce power...

You don't really compare turbo builds to N/A builds engine and exhaust wise that is.

if you are talking about turbo then we should be talking in FI section...but for N/A...you should not run true duals on a 4cyl

**just my personal view and it not directed at anyone..

all exhaust system single or dual lose a bit if lower end power but gain more at mid and specially top end. 4cyl car like honda s2000 has dual exhuast and it NA. It make lot of hp due to high reving engine. The dual exhuast help the S2000 make power in the higher rev where the NA engine need more air. how many people S2000 owner do you see switch to single exhuast just because it a 4cyl NA. It one of honda most impressive NA 4cly,

Now for a stock cb7, many view that dual exhaust don't belong here. So it up to any car owner to decide and live with their choice. But let say it a build up NA f22a with cam/headwork/bigger bore... all the works. Off course the engine will be reving higher to gain more hp and bigger exhuast system is a must. I don't have a built up NA engine so I am only thinking that with a properly done dual exhaust it should see = or possible more hp then a single muffler upgrade.

Anyway some go for look, some go for power - everyone want both... Have a good weekend all..

                      Under the Hood
Beneath the hood sits a 240-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder VTEC engine with dual-outlet exhaust that’s made to rev as high as 9,000 rpm — a limit far beyond most cars on the market; it yields 153 pounds-feet of torque at 7,500 rpm. Coupled to a six-speed-manual transmission, the S2000 leaps past its milder-mannered stablemates when pushing the gas pedal to the floor.

cb's don't rev as high as an s2k, totally different build

most stock exhaust is very restrictive...more free flowing is always better over stock...no losses...gains...power increase...might move along the power band as well...but it's an improvement

or you could do something really neat and set up a rear turbo under your car and hook it up to the other tip
                              if thats even possible
