acouple problems with my 92 EX. help!! **pics**

hey everyone, this is my second CB7. just purchased it on saterday and i've run into some problems.

1)the car seems to run fine in the morning when i drive but it seems when the engine warms up, the RPM wants to drop and bog down. in some cases causing the car to stall out. in results, me putting the car in to neutral and starting it up again. what could be the problem? (the car is an automatic)

2)i was just about to change the headlights when i realized that the driver side bulb was burnt out. i plugged in a set of HID's in and nothing. tried a regular bulb and the same results. would this be a bad connection plug? or a bad harness all together?!?!

3)when turning left or right i hear a knocking sound. on my last accord, i had the same problem and if i could recal, these cars have a CV joint problem? so im gonna assume it that?

any help would be appriciated!! number 1 & 2 is really pissing me off so i hope someone can get back to me on that one. thanks!!!

    as promised, heres a pic!!

the third question answer is most lickely the cv boot. as for question 1) im having a similar problem. I am told its probably an ignition problem. I did a tune up and it still does the same thing it boggs. It might be the distributor itself, that is what im going to replace on mine. If that solves the problem i will let you know.

        IMO...

1.have you cleaned your idle sensors yet?

2.1st check the 1st couple of inches of wiring starting at where it plus into your bulb. sometimes the wire comes loose from the plug. also check that lights fuse in the engine bay. I believe #37 20A is the left & #38 20A is the right

3.your outboard CV joint is either worn or messed up. (mines damaged & it makes the same kind of noise when I turn right)

i had the same problems with my 92 ex, what i did was go to pick n pull and cut off some plugs with about 2-3 inches of wiring still attached and just cut n splice with the stock wiring, work perfect me so it should work for you

sputters then dies. i keep one foot on the break and the other on the gas to try to keep the rpm's up to prevent it from stalling.

Sounds like fuel delivery problem or your idle speed is not properly set.

Negative. If it was , he'll be hearing clunk noises on bumps.

or maybe his throttle cable is sliding where its held inplace at the intake manny like mines was.

Id adjust the throttle cable & take the car out for a spin. & after a while it would seam like it would idle lower & lower at every redlight I stopped at. so I put 2 tiny metal hose clamps on either end of the throttle cable at the holder. it stopped that problem I had.

I had #1, but can't remember how I resolved it....All I can remember I'd not started it for over 3 years, started it first time, let her warm up, and then as soon as I pressed the pedal she'd cut out and not start until I put it into neutral...I thought my parking bit was buggered, but then after changing the ATF it was all ok.....might be worth trying
