i have a 92 accord lx auto i don't use my car for racing i want i lil'bit more power than 135hp what do ai have to do to swap a H22a engine on my car any mod to the engine bay somebody with exelent experience help. i also think of F22b but H22 has 200hp i heard!

you heard right. the H22 does have 200hp. but thats only to the crank. once you have it in the cb it'll have only 175-185whp. if your not lookin got make it too fast then forget about the swap and get these things:

-f22a6 intake manifold
-f22a6 cam
-chipped ECU
-bore out your throttle body
-short ram or cold air intake
-full exhaust(no more than 21/4 or 21/2)
-work on the suspension. which is one key element to your acceleration.

all which will cost you less than a H22 swap and still have money left over to get a tune and some little extras you might see

Throw some bolt ons onto it. But nothing gives a wow factor like forced induction.

after i get this parts on my F22A1 if i wana go turbo how much PSI i can go for. like i said i don't do racing but i like to speedup in highways. cuz for turbo i need chip or ECU control i can't run on stock EX ECU?

yes you need to get a chipped ECU. trust me when i tell you, if you have a boosted car, then your gonna race someone. wiether it be a stop light encounter or a highway rae, it'll happen.


if you want a few extra horses for highway passing then just do a few bolt mods. follow the mod list i posted. if your looking for some extra power will nothing but regular maintance, get a H22 swap.

what requieres a turbo setup? other than turbo and pipe and ECU can a F22A1 run turbo even with the F22A6 parts i wana do this on my car.

yeah you can run all of the a6 parts. search around up here on cb7tuner. there are plenty of threads up here. matter of fact heres a link to the turbo section of the forum. you'll find everything you need to know about if up there. you cant post in it due to the fact that your still a beginner but you can everything you need to know:

what do you mean by hybrid? like the new cars out? or hybrids like motor and parts swaps?

also heres another link for some info you might find worth while info you need to know all before boosting. its best to understand your car before you mod it. the more you understand the less trouble you'll go thru. you wont have to worry about shosp trying to rip you off for tuning and other things such as parts and thing they may SAY are wrong with your car and the part be perfectly fine.
