ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Man, theres better places to get parts from than F22Parts. Granted they do specialize in our cars, but I always wonder about their quality... and they don't make H22 parts, which is the head he's using, and where from most of the power comes Check out Arias for pistons, or any of the other piston manufacturers, not distributors. And theres plenty of head builders / parts shops that cater to the H-series, so you shouldn't have much of a problem finding support... just search.

I don't have a problem find support or parts for the head its pretty much abundant ......... I'm having a problem finding parts for the block especially from a know company I'm spending a pretty penny on this build I want it done right and don't plan on putting some no brand pistons to only fail me on the dyno

Well, I can't "easily" find any, so I'd start looking into what others have done. I read something a while back about H23 Pistons fitting in the F22B block. IDK if this is true or not, but maybe it will help.

that will just cost you more money in the long run if your boosting because the cylinder wont be able to handle the stress and then your screwed

Thats why you re-sleeve your block. Thats what I'm planning to do b4 boost. Already got a quote of $1200 for parts/labor from Darton. Not too bad for the added insurance if you ask me. Can anyone say closed deck? lol

And if your just looking for 85mm forged F22 pistons, and your engine is a F22B with some letter on the end your not telling us, and isn't other JDM motor that I haven't heard of, then look at Arias for Pistons and Carrillo for Rods. The crank is pretty sturdy, so that should be good. OEM bearings. Toga makes good OEM style performance oil pumps I've heard.

What else are you looking to upgrade? What PSI, or range, are you looking to boost too?
