ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

It looks like you will have problems with the oil return line with the turbo in that position. You should clock the turbo so the feed line it vertical and the return is facing down.

listen to bruno. if you don't, i see oil starvation in your future. i like seeing how creative people get with their boost setups when they're on a tight budget.

You dont have to buy a new manifold. The intake side of the turbo can be turned. When looking at the middle of the turbo next to the oil lines you will see about 4 or 5 bolts holding the turbo together, Remove the bolts and turn the compressor to where the return line is facing straight down and then tighten back the bolts.

i think your charge piping isnt going to hold. i think it will blow apart. doesnt look strong enough imo. good luck with the build though.

Yeah, remove the bolts on the exhaust housing, clock it to where the oil drain will be vertical, then loosen the bolts that hold the compressor and rotate it to where you need it.

Is that a flexible charge piping? I'm curious to see how well that works once you get the car going... I've always wondered about that!

Cool. When I boost my hatchback, I'll have to consider that.

                              fuel injectors are here

ok so the guy shipped them on saterday and they where here today awsome.
so i put them in and the the new ob1 chiped ecu in . had al lil truble starting it at first but thats cuz there is no fuel in them. seconed time i tried to start her she started right up the ecu seemed to be running good along with the injectors no leeks or anything. so i let her run like 2 or 3 min and i whent for a drive. all i can say is wow finaly got to see what she can do. the boost control isnt working right so i will have to mess with it right now it made like 13 or 14 psi with was bad ass but i didnt want to run that all the time i will make a vid tonight and try to get it on here later tonight.

i still need to get her tuned and the exaust work done its like a 4 or 5 inch down pipe write now so its a lil loud but its nice to see all my hard work finally pay off now i am going to go race my buddys 2000 accord auto. he almost took me last time i raced him but this time ill leave him in the dust
