ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Ticiko blues with tein S-techs

I just bought my first CB7 last week, and the struts were shot, I even found a broken spring while replacing everything. Anyway the day I bought it I ordered some Tikico HP's and some Tein S-tech lowering springs. I just put them on the other day, and am really happy with the ride quality. Not nearly as harsh as I thought it might be with a 2" drop. Actually better than it was before since the struts were junk, and one spring broken. I seem to have fallen in love with this car for some reason, and am looking forward to more modifications. Funny thing is I have never really noticed them very much before I bought this one, and now I have a hard time not thinking about what to do next to it. I have also already put all new component speakers, and a new head unit in. I can't live with stock sound in any of my vehicles.

Keep the fluids clean. It's the blood of the car.

yeah, the tranny oil, and coolant are on my list to do asap. I changed the motor oil and filter the first day. It was nasty black, and slightly sluge-like. Looked like the original oil...LOL.

Yes a header, 2.25" exhaust, and a OBX twin loop muffler, and short ram intake are on the list of things to do here in the next couple of months. Mugen style front lip, and a rear lip of some sort, and then I will paint it. I like to paint stuff.

Yep, She is having the time of her life! LOL Definately better off that she was. I like to take care of my things, and fix them up nice. I will be replacing all the suspension bushings, and ball joints here soon too, then off to the alignment shop. I will be replacing them with rubber ones, since the poly bushings are a bit harsh in everything I have had them in for everyday driving. I bought this vehicle for an everyday runaround vehicle, back and forth to work, run errands etc. As gas is getting high, and my 00 GMC 2500HD doesn't get good milage. Now I have fallen in love with this car, and plan to do way more than just maintain her well. It is actually funny how much I like this car. I told my wife when we bought this car, that we would leave it stock, and just run it into the ground (proper maintenence of course). Now she gives me a hard time, and says she knew I couldn't leave it stock. She knows me better than I know myself!

                LOL!! That's good to know.

Unlike other people who buy , ride and go. Don't care about their maintennance then they bitch about the repairs needed to be done. I hate people like that. Especially spoiled kids riding on expensive shit. They may ride new ones but they will deteriorate quick. Unlike us we buy cheap ones BUT know how to treat them well.
