F22a6 turbo?

I wanted 2 know if anybody is running this setup I was thinking of doing this but I wanted 2 here some reviews and opinions thanx in advance

MANY people have done it. It's no different than the F22A1 or F22A4. At least 75% of the turbo guys on here are boosted on F22As.

The results vary depending on the condition of your engine, the type and quality of your components, and the quality of your tune. Don't cut corners, and you'll have good results. Halfass it, and you'll be left with a smoking pile of scrap. A small turbo will blowtorch your motor. A bad tune (or running on a basemap... ) will produce a lovely pinging noise, right before setting a regional shotput record with a piston or two.

Thanx guys, but who makes a good turbo 4 are motors I have been reading about the DSM turbo conversions, but i'm not sure if I should do it or try 2 find someone who makes a turbo specifically 4 the F motor.

There are no turbos made for our motors. Do some research, Sam. Learn a bit about turbos, or you're going to waste your money! Buying a turbo isn't like buying a header or an intake. There are very few car-specific, or even engine-specific turbos made.

Look for a t3/t4 or a "big" 16g. Those are generally a good size.


I would pick up two books to learn a few things:
Honda/Acura Engine Performance by Mike Kojima
and
Maximum Boost by Corky Bell

Those two books will give you a greater understanding of turbo (and your engine in general, thanks to the first one) than most members on this site have.
