ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Its probably similar to the main relay issue, in that the solder pts. internally on it went bad and is therefore causing the motor to not put out all 12v of power. I bought one from Honda new for $36, just ordered it today so I'll let you know how that goes. I'd rather buy new instead of the j-yard ones b/c its kinda a LOT of work to remove that one piece from the blower motor.
Here's some pics of what how they picture it in the Haynes manual:

Its that white rectangular looking thing that needs to be replaced.
Thats kinda messed up bro.... i just checked all my stuff, and that box isnt there for me... wierd.

so you saying you don't have that little resistor thing? Are you missing it or it just didn't come w/ one?

When i tore mine apart, i didnt see that anywhere. Apparantly the 90-91 might have it somewhere else (maybe botled just above the B/M housing.) But when i pulled off thsoe 3 connectors, one went to the ajuster (moving the fins for recycle air), direct power to the motor, and the other connector went to a box, but that box wasnt in the same location as that one is.

hmmm that's weird, b/c the car they used to "demo" all the work in the manual was a 91 LX sedan.

Oh and in case anyone's blower motor for the heat/AC isn't blowing as hard as it should, this is the resistor that plugs into the motor should help revive the fast fan speeds of when the car was brand new. I think it's kinda like the Main Relay issue, in that the solder pts internally on this resistor probably went bad or the resistor itself lol. I had a new blower motor put in about 3 yrs ago and they didn't bother replacing the resistor that controls the amount of voltage sent to the motor, so now I have to open up my dash, and install this thingy ontop of the blower motor. About 36 bucks at the Honda Dealer. Hopefully this should take care of my problem.
