ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Because my 86 prelude was done for - it still loked good but the tranny was going out for like the 3rd time. -- And the 93 accord EX was the only lowered one around this area at the time (1997)...needless to say I still have CB7 and I'd get a new car, but it still runs and drives great! --BUT I'm really lookin hard at an 04 V6 6spd EX...

i was always into cars, and when i got my license when i was 17, i went on the hunt. i was looking at a CD at first, but those were way out of my price range, then a guy in one of my classes told me he was selling one for $1200. i went and checked it out. coupe, 5 speed, good body = perfect.

i chose my cb7 because i love the styling of them. they just suddenly stuck out to me one day. plus all my buddies have civics and integras and i am tired of those. i wanted something different. the accord was a perfect choice.

                work in progress..

parents handed it to me. i started modding it when i was 13 years old, had the amber going on you know. WAshed it almost everymonth when i was younger too. Its pretty much my dream car how many people do you know that actually drive their dream car that they dreamnt when they were a kid, my second choice would be a gsr full body kit with a wing, still want that too.

                    Totalled my '95 Maxima

Always loved those body Accords, was the best compromise for price and fun at the time.

Second time around, I bought the CB cause I'm a fucking idiot.

I was at my friends house for a barbecue and his neighbor was there... we were bullshitting over a few beers and he mentions that he was gonna have to get rid of his Accord soon because it had been sitting in the driveway for 6 months with a blown head gasket (his friend who's a "honda" guy said so). The car had 165k, a couple dents and a little rust on the 1/4 panels. I was daily driving a '74 Camaro with a big block at the time and was enticed at owning a car that got better than 12 MPG in the city.

I asked him what he wanted for it and he said "I dunno maybe a couple hundred". So I told him I'd take it and if I could fix it I'd give him $200. I saw oil on top of the plugs and the oil was clean on the dipstick... and it got me thinkin maybe just maybe his honda guy was wrong about the head gasket

So I replaced the dead battery, found that there was no spark when I turned it over and I narrowed it down to the ignition coil. Thing fired right up after I put that in and the compression was good. I put about $1400 in parts & labor into it to pass inspection and the rest is history. It aint all that fast, but I can't help but modify all my cars.

I bought it because I knew I was going to college and I needed a reliable car. I always like them, but wanted an Acura Legend coupe, but only had 8 thousand. I couldn't find any clean Acks, so I found a clean CB7 with only 52000 miles. So I invested in it. Now I really want a 92/93 Black EX 5-spd coupe.
