ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I dont really remember why i bought it, but i remember seeing it "188k. $2100"

I went to see it, body was like 98% awesome, INT was like 90% plus i figured 188k wasnt too bad.

I dont recall what kind of car i was looking for while searching but, i picked and here i am...2.5 years and about $8000 later..

Well I moved out too Spring Hill Florida, I had $4000 in cash after doing my taxes(thanx for my kids) I needed a reliable car... knowing me, any reliable car would be a honda. So my wife found my car on auto-trader. When we drove to the dude's house, i immediatly fell in love with my CB7. Drove her back home to Cali for a new life(motor swap F22b) and a new home(SoCal)

I wanted a Camry or a Stratus. My stepfather gave me a "choice" between the three, and then said I'm getting the Accord. I hated it for the first month. For the first year, I wanted a CD5 instead. For the first 3 months I had my H22 swap, I babied the motor and beat the car, planning to swap to a CD when I had the money... Then I found this site... and my CB7 will never leave my side.

                    Suure.

I remember you telling me that you disliked the CD5 I remember your website even...from around 2003 documenting your ride haha.

                    :edit:

I didn't specificly buy the last CB I had..it was more or less given to me as a car to fix up.

Swapped an a6 at the time and drove the hell out of it..until one day I tried to sell it on here but the website was down at the time.

It ended up in the junkyard....that was one of the saddest days for me at the time.

I had a 240sx and I was tired of having to fix something every other week. Finally I just had to sell it. I was looking for a 5th gen. But, I couldn't find a single one that was clean inside and out, none in my price range were manual. I went up to Nashville and saw a beautiful CB7. It was clean inside and out and the engine bay was immaculate. Only bad thing, it had 230K miles. I was kinda hesitant on buying it, but I talked the owner down enough that I had to get it.

my grandparents found me the car and offered to buy it like right before my senior of high school. I broke the cam in my integra and it went all the way through the bottom of the block on my way home from school. So now i'm a CB7 fan for life

When I first got my drivers license my stepdad (Formally known as Dad) handed down his 97 Elantra and I remember seeing my friends CRX dropped and fat exhaust. I was looking for a old car like that CRX. I raced that Elantra like it was my last and then finding out that I blew the engine the next morning after racing my friends CRX. It ended up getting repowed then my uncle found out that I had no ride for school so he ended up selling it to me for about $350. That was my favorite ride. My little 87 Accord Hatch was pretty sweet. I use to drift for the hell of it because it was small. One day I saw an old photo of my bio. dads car. I remember when I was little that he would do custom paint jobs to CB7 and CB9. I only have a few photos of some he did left. I always wished that I had one of those cars before my parents seperated when I was 7. Making my way threw high school friends calling me the Drift Racer, I loved that old hatch. On the day that I was going to graduate from school my bio. dad called me to tell me that he was in town for my graduation. So I was hanging with him until it was time for graduation. He was telling me about how he knew about me having a raggid ride and wanted me to buy me a new one. So he takes me to his car, not know that my CB was sitting next to his Lincoln, tells me to get in the car, hands me a set of keys and said enjoy your new car. 3 years later, I'm still enjoying my CB7 and fixing it up with something new.
