I don't dislike the Patriots, I just don't like the way they pretty much guaranteed that they were going all the way at like mid season.

Still haven't beaten the Dolphins record.

Ultimately, people will try, but the Dolphins won every game they had available to play, so the copout of "they won more games" doesn't hold. Who is to say the Dolphins wouldn't have won more if there were more.

For the record, I am a Steelers fan, but you don't just pretend you are going to trounce on an accomplishment like an undefeated season, ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE SUPERBOWL.

The Patriots never guaranteed they'd go all the way. In fact, they pretty much went out of their way at every opportunity to say that they just wanted to focus on the next game. It was the media and the fans who made the guarantee. In fact, I think the only player that made any kind of guarantee this season was Anthony Smith of the Steelers, and we all know how that turned out.

Personally, I'm kind of glad that the Giants won the Superbowl, despite being a Patriots fan. They showed during that game that they definitely wanted it a lot more. They were hungry. The Patriots were kind of lackluster, and I'm glad the win went to the team that showed the most heart.

For the record, I still think Wes Welker deserved the MVP though!
