i was wattching a news clip an saw some nice all done up hondas being crushed in rialto,calif because the driver was caught racing .....is that true if ur caught racing out there they take ur car an crush it?

Ya thats old news really. They did it as an example that they CAN do it if they want to. I doubt they get that serious on every occasion. They also said the hondas had stolen engines, ect. Basicaly just save yourself the trouble and don't race on the streets. Besides, spectating is just as fun with less consiquence.

That's one reason why people are building clean sleepers with no body kits and stuff.
The cops here in LA are not fun to mess around with, they will give you tickets for crimes you never committed, if you are cruising with your friends, they will say you are racing.

cops pretty much stop you for having a honda.
i cant drive my cb7 cause i cant put in my name or my moms name.
just the other day a cop stop a honda in front of me and just checked the
driver's papers and let him go, and hi didnt even do anything.
right now im driving a dodge durango with a us flag on the rear window
and it like im invisible cause cops dont bother me with that car.

They do it for a reason. Just because they are strict doesnt mean it gets a thumbs down or whatever. The main reason is in some areas street racing and crap is a big deal. Those cars that were crushed were racing and had stolen parts in them as well as I recall. The racing in cali is big business and a big deal. People living over there know how big of a problem it is. They also have quite a bit of deaths caused by racing on the street mostly by ignorant young kids. This is the reason why they have strict policies and enforcement.

i live in california and cops pull me over like crazy once i got pulled over for having yellow lights so i had to change them in cali they try to find excuses to pull you over

its just a saying why i put my thumbs down is because as california residents says you drive a honda modified you get stopped for doing nothing that gets annoying and especially if you didnt do anything wrong .. street racing is illegal and there alot of theft over there same as orlando area which i read on diffrent forums .. hope you understand what i meant ..

I have gotten pulled over becuase my BOV was supposedly to loud and was considered a sound ordinance or something stupid the ticket cost me 75bucks
