Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    u guys don't know how piss i am. I may be 16 i may not know everything bout cars but i know some. today at work my manager said he has a h23a1 for sale i said nnaw i am getting a h22a and he said "y do that the h23a1 has more horses " i said "no it doesn't" and this one guy was setting down next to the us is suppose to a "car guy" and he even said the h23a1 was faster. so i stared aguring with him and he said i was retarded and had no idea what i was talking about. i said "the h22a has vtec and the h23a1 dosen't" and the he said teh h23a1 has vtec and that were i got piss this guy is suppose know everything about it he fixes cars for a living. and then he started saying "look it up" everytime i spoke i even told him that the only h23a that had vtec came from form japan or euro there was no usdm factory h23a1 vtec but if u consider a h23a1 block a h22a head a factory h23a1 vtec . he even had the nerve to say to call me stupid.

    the whole moral of the story is that 2 guy's in there 30's that are mechanics "i know that for a fact" and they have no clue what they are talking about and a 16 could prove ppl wrong

    I can barely understand your post...

    But yes, the H23A1 is 30hp shy of the H22A1. There is a JDM H23A that came in 6th generation Accords (AWD automatic, I believe) that had VTEC, but it isn't the same as the H22A. I believe VTEC is on the intake cam only, which is a little odd... I suppose they want to retain low-end power.



    The H23A1 CAN be faster than the H22. It may be lacking in horsepower, but it doesn't take much to make it competitive.
