Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    just ranting...

    Why the hell do ford make their caliper bolts HEX? like FFS? can they be any more retarded? and seriously, taking out an axle in that thing... its like performing surgery on a cat that hasnt been sedated, it wants to rip out your eyeballs...

    The story:
    My friend calls me up, says hey dan, i need a hand, i need you to do some stuff for me, like brakes and such, and check out this exhaust leak. I say sure no problem, thats easy stuff.... So he brings the car over, the metal EGR tube attached to the exhaust manifold is broken... and the brakes are screwed... and the "passenger side axle" is messed.

    So after trying to take out the axle on the passenger side, i give up, that sucker is in there good... I do the brakes, and the EGR... and now all i got is a sore back... after taking out litterally every tool i have, i am never going to touch another F'king F.O.R.D again, they can stay on the side of the road, and get smacked up by traffic, and hit by rocks, and all that fun stuff... long story short... I HATE FORD... FORD CAN GO TO HELL.
    Thanks for listening... its been fun... and i will stay with my honda thanks....

    EDIT: by this way, this was on a SOHC 2L focus SE... NON zetec... *stabs self*

      werd, im planning on getting a ranger to make it a prerunner...

      so the whole rear diff, serpentine belt and standard hardware is gonna challenge me :o

            lol the motor I worked on we needed a special tool to pull the goddamn spark plug wire out...I was like how retarded can you be...Plus I have big hands not great for fitting in small cracks.

                talk about bring it back from the dead. Honda's can be bitches as times too, im having a really sick problem with my rad fan starting up at random times... but i think i finally found out what happened! Woot!

                  Talking about the boot puller?
                  You can get plugs out without it, use an extension with a U-joint.

                    Yes that part. It was my first time working on a VW I was like why the fuck isnt the boot coming out. Then my mentor came up to me and told me I had to use a tool he had laying around lol and it came out. I hate the VW buses. Too damn many in Taiwan especially for the police/ambulance.

                        haha it took me and my dad a little under an hour trying to get out the battery in a 2000 vw beetle...At first i thought "where the fuck's the battery?"...then after removing the fuse box and some stupid battery tray I found it...then add 40 minutes trying to remove the pos

THats the most retarded place i have ever heard of putting a battery... you know that commercial where they have the Golf with squealing brakes and stuff, you cant get a VW without squealing brakes... its now a factory requirement... they run like shit after 50K, they blow the T80 turbo's on the Golf 1.8TGAS motors (correction, i could be wrong on the turbo model)
                            they are a maintenance bitch after 50K (deisel) and they never start in winter. haha

                              Yeah, I don't really get that either. I don't think that's where they put them in the Cayenne.
                              A friend's cousin had one and he said the maintenance on it was horrible. He traded it in for a base-model 300C, so it must have been.
