ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Lowering springs

Has any body ever heard about Evotion lowering springs? Are they any good? I have looked for a while but havnt seen anything on them.

    Thanks

Evotion lowering springs will provide a maximum of a 2" drop. The springs are cold rolled. This process will maintain the tencil strength and prevent the steel from breaking down.

Well There Cheap, And It's Not a Very Low Drop. But Will Also Increase The Handling Of The Car By Lowering The Centre Point Of Gravity. But Imo, I Say If You Have Money To Go With Better One's Go With Neuspeed!!!! But A If Your On A Budget Go With TenzoR!!!!

Don't cheap out on suspension components. If you can't afford to get good stuff, wait. Cheap crap will give you a horrible ride at best, and be dangerous at worst!

If the official information about those springs used the word "tencil"...
              The word is "tensile"

Toucan Industries "makes" them. They are the same company that makes Ractive and Eurolite products. This is the junk you can find at fantastic performance shops such as Circuit City

90cb7tuner, please stop typing in all caps... it's annoying to read (and yes, the board is set to keep that from happening, but every letter being capitalized is still irritating)

Tenzo R is pretty cheap-o. Neuspeed is not.

I was referring to the springs that the original poster was asking about, as that is the topic of this thread.

I never said they broke, i simply stated the springs did not give me a good ride.

Just know that almost every expirience you'll have on ebay, the more you pay, the better the quality will be. Which also leads to you being much happier when the package gets to your house, lol.
