the guy can't get too far. The CB was in good enough condition where they can get the license number, VIN tag, registration, yadda yadda. It's only a matter of time before the guy's seen a Quik E Mart or something.

What makes every one in here MAD is the fact that the kids were killed. 2 How they were killed they were set on fire think of that for a seconde kid ,No kid Deserves to die that way. IF they were adults than mabey all of us fathers and mother would look at it in another way.

Every one at some time has raced, put you need to know when and where man. Am sure thows dudes did not want that to happen bad if they had balls to run doring rush hour they should've had balls (be men) and man up to what they did.

ok. thats the obvious but they didnt! we should not do half the shit we do as people and how often does anyone do the right thing after going so deep into the wrong? never! very seldomly does anyone take responsibilty for the own actions. like i said life goes on!

YOUR right i agree with you that life goes one but that fathers life just hit one BIG HAULT. That's what get's all of us fathers mad. BUt your right life goes on and thank's to that the father one day is going to move on.

all i know is whoever decided to race didn't pick a good road or time to do it on i only race on race tracks interstates and rarely if ever on the surface streets (side note: the race with the mustang doesn't count- it was too far to get on the interstate- but we went on a major highway where there were no pedestrians and did it when there weren't many cars out) i have called cars out on surface streets but only raced them on the interstate... both drivers were at fault for not using common sense... if there's a lot of pedestrian traffic in an area don't race if there's a lot of cars in an area don't race...

This is unfortunate. Being a father myself makes this story even more painful.

I can only hope for that one day they catch the waste of human life that made the conscious decision to FLEE the accident.

I hope the father of the 2 kids finds the strength to move on.

RIP to the mother and 2 kids.

I don't know how I'd react if I was in the position of the Accord driver... Well, I'd never race like that, so I wouldn't be... but if I was, I don't know if I'd run or stay. I'd like to say I'd stay and face up to my actions, but I couldn't say for sure. The fear and shame would likely make me run as well.

That's why racing is so dumb. I'll do it to a point, but I'll rarely go faster than I would normally drive on that particular road (and the few times I've pushed it, I felt like an idiot... and I remember those times.)

There are plenty of drag strips around. For the areas that are in the middle of nowhere, with no local strips, people could at least find a deserted road (non-residential) to race on. Still incredibly stupid, but at least those that could be killed are limited to those participating!
