ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

you got that shit right. stay away from gang bangers. If they ask you where you from, never say south or north. just drive away as fast as you can. My homie got shot point blank because he said that he was from south sac and he was in north side territory. those fuckers don't fuck around. this happened last year too.

there aint much to do to get distracted here. i live in the sacramento area, though id suggust an alarm....people in sac are stupid. let me know when u come down, i am an installer at circuit city and i can hook you up hehe.

its not soo bad here depending on the area your in, the nicer areas have more thefts though lol!

            no snow or rust though
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

x2 and here's some more cities you wanna keep a low profile in.

Sacramento, Stockton, Vacaville, Suisun, Oakland and Concord have special units and regular police nazis that hunt for import cars.... especially Sacramento and Oakland. You can get pulled over in Sacramento just for having a lowered car or anything "shiny" exhaust, altezzas etc. The cops sometimes even have "mobile dynos" and will check your entire car out for illegal modifications and send your ass to ref. if you have any.

Oakland is especially hot because of all the street racing that goes on off 7th street and by the payload yards. There are alot of idiots that go out there just to do sideshows and start shit with other people. While in my buddies SRT-4 we had guns waved at us while following the line of cars going to the meet. We seen cars get jacked by other onlookers because their owners were out of their cars down the street watching the races, I've also had close encounters with head on collisions when the cops come to the spot and everyone starts to drive in all directions trying to scurry away like ants.
The scene is dangerous but really adrenaline pumping if you go

(JDM Prostitutes) You wanna sell your own car body?

When I was going to college in Concord, there was a special unit that "acts like a street racer" he lures you into a speed traps with 2 bike cops. He got my classmate to race him and he got his '99 Si impounded and he couldn't afford to get it out. So watch out and don't do any street racing in Concord because it might not even be a legit race but a total setup.

Concord isn't that bad anymore coz nobody really goes there. Oakland and Frisco by Daly City runs are where it's at lately. I've heard Benecia has been cracking lately because I-680 is dead in alot of areas around 2-3am. Concord used to be bad off of Port Chicago in the industrial area close by Heald College because their are lots of wide open roads. Nowadays it's dead because there are lots of new businesses that opened up where dirt lots used to be and there are security units in the area patrolling so they'll radio cops right away.

But yeah you better watch out since you have your H now. I saw you once off turning onto peabody road. There is a motorcycle cop that hangs out on a sidewalk ramp by the prison. He did his research and pulls over import cars. That asshat followed my sister almost all the way to solano once and got her for jdm plate and AEM intake (oldschool intake, has no carb label due to carb pending @ the time) She was lucky but he can be a real dick. He also got a guy I see at the vacaville runs for a Carbon fiber hood!! Technically the guy had no hood pins (unsafe) but the cop also insisted it's "OFFROAD USE ONLY"so even if he had pins it didn't make a difference.

He got my friends EK CTR hatch once for a straight pipe. His car looks completely stock on the outside except it's just dunked. He's running a oem CTR exhaust but even tho it wasn't loud when he passed by the cop (held clutch in to quiet it) cop did a 10point inspection and got him on lots of things. He noticed the car was gutted too...so up went the hood and he struck the goldmine.

Get your shit reffed or if you know someone with a REF certificate, just take a picture of it and photoshop your car details. That way if you happened to get pulled over, the cop might overlook it as long as you have the tag to say the engine is ok. I doubt they'll spend the time to run the codes on the sticker but it's good for security for dumb cops. They see carb plates they are happy.

That dudes v-tec kicked in like woah.... He spanked SRT4's and a STI last time I was out there when we retreated to the Hayward spot after 7th street got too hot.
