ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The great thing is, and the newer members don't understand this... is that the Beginner Forums are the BEST place to get an answer! Flaming in the Beginner Forums will get people banned, so there's less of it. I try to make a point of letting people know that if you're going to post in a Beginner thread, make it informative. Answer the question.
The rest of the forum is just too big to enforce that throughout... but here in the Beginner Forums, you're sure to get an answer... or at least not get flamed.
I don't LIKE seeing "what motors can I put in my car?" a million times... but someone who has enough sense to search will LOVE it, since they'll actually find a bunch of threads with answers!
Honestly, though... part of me enjoys taking down the whores. It's one of the reasons why I'm not ever going to become a cop... Being a jerk is fun when someone is blatantly disobeying the rules! I spend a LOT of time on this site (a lot of money, too). I do my best to make sure that things are run properly. All of the mods have been selected by me based not only on their knowledge of CB7s, but also their attitude and maturity level. They do the job correctly. I know I could disappear for 6 months and come back to find this place running as it should be (well... the AOM competition may die... ) The mods work just as hard as I do to keep this place running as it should. They also go out of their way to organize the stickies so people can find all the important info right away (nobody ever looks... but it's there!)
As I've said before, the 30 post rule is for a number of reasons:
-Keep scammers at bay (works VERY well)
-Keep spammers confined to a small area (again, VERY well... you should see all the deleted threads!)
-Keep the REALLY simple and repeat questions confined to a small, heavily moderated area. This does a number of good things. 1.) It keeps the new members from irritating the older members by asking questions that they think are novel... but have really been covered a million times. 2.) It gives the members a greater chance of having their questions answered, since any non-beginner in the Beginner Forums is usually there to help out. 3.) It keeps the new members from getting flamed by the older members for asking "stupid" questions. It doesn't always work... but banning puts an end to the flaming quickly.
-Allows the new members to see how the site works, so they can integrate themselves easily when they get to the full forum. cb7tuner is run a bit different than other forums. It helps to become familiar with it.
-Helps the staff weed out the trouble. Anyone who won't follow the 30 post rule PROBABLY will have a hard time following the other rules of this forum. If they get pissed and leave, that's fine with me! I'd take 10 people who respect me over 10000 people that are only here to use me

Please do not reply to them. If someone happens to be watching for a response, you are merely aggravating things. One of us will see it, and delete.
No further action needs to be taken.
