Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    WA tuners, please help

    ok so i know theres a thread somewhere on here about this but i couldnt find. and i used the search so please dont get mad, lol.

    anyways i just recently got pulled over beacuse my car is "too modified" the cop said my exhaust is too loud and it souldnt be as low as it is. my car isnt all that loud and its only an inch drop. so is there an exhaust law in wa? i just wanted to know. then after it was all over he goes "nice rims i like what youve done" WTF?!?!

    As far as I know there's no exhaust law and a 1" drop is far from illegal. I say fight it but look it up and make sure first. Same way I got pulled over on my old ZX-6 Ninja for having my exhaust too loud and, as far as sportbikes go, it wasn't all that bad and I asked the cop, "What about all the Harley guys running around?? They're WAY louder than I am." and he told me to have a nice day lol.

      there is a noise law for cars in washington, if its over 90 decibels its elligal. believe me i've been pulled over before running a strait pipe on my way to get my new exhaust. and I dunno I had a 91 hatch that had about a 4in drop and i never gotten a ticket or even had a cop say a word about how low it was, and believe me I was tucked.

          did he but out the tape measure on ur car and measured the height from the ground to the middle of ur headlight??

          anyways thats crap man, unless ur exhaust IS rather loud/annoying....

            he didnt actually say that it was too loud or whatever, he just said that you cant have a modified exhaust that is louder than the stock one....ok? and he didnt measure my car he had just mentioned that its pretty low. he was more stuck on the whole exhaust thing. he said he would let me go with a warning because i seemed nice and i hadnt had the car that long. thank god. i have never been pulled over before i got this car and since ive gotten ive been pulled over 4 times for stuff like this all within 3 months!

              Hmm. So technically isn't that saying any performance exhaust would be illegal? I'm sure that ALMOST every after market exhaust is somewhat louder than a stock one.

                yeah, exactly. it was just weird how the whole thing went down. it was like he started to run out of things to say too and he started to talk in circles.

                  i live in federal way and there r ALOTTA ricers with loud ass exhausts that set car alarms off. that guy was just a jerk that needed to meet his quota.

                  and the drop thing, that is such bull cuz there r plenty of cars with 2inch and higher drops.

                  i myself have a loud exhaust and i drive by cops all the time at like 2 in the morning and not once have i been pulled over

                  on shitty cops

                    do cops really have a quota for how many ppl they pull? cuz i hear others talk about it but do they rally have a quota?
