ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i fucking swear, why do we hate civics so much yet we always are eyeing them to beat and prove ourselves?????
if i beat a civic on the track(AN ACTUAL TRACK, NOT 1320), then i'll go bananas(especially some gsr and k20 swaps)
but in a str8 line, come on........ why waste gas????"You don't have to be a Phi Beta Kappa to know not to strip-search a girl who is accused of stealing change,"
I did gagoogity that girl. I gashmoigitied her gaflavity with my googis. And I am sorry.

That said, with the emergence of the K and the J series motors, and the shift of Honda marketing the Accord to compete with mid-level sedans, I think the new generation of accord owners will find themselves out to prove their worth against more Maximas, G35 sedans, Camry's and the slew of domestic "muscle-sedans" whilst the civic goes on to try and keep it's niche in the entry level market. I believe we'll see alot less true Accord "tuners" in the immediate future unfortunately, unless the forth-coming 8th gens win over the hearts of those who havent already jumped onto the Nissan bandwagon (i'm talking of course about the new Altima which is making waves around here)

The new Altima (and Maxima... the top of the line models of each are about the same power/weight wise) is very potent. Nissan is doing an amazing job keeping up with the current luxury/sport trends. You can buy a pure sports car, a pure VIP luxury car, a few obnoxiously large trucks, and anything in between. They have great support through Nismo for quality aftermarket (and factory tuned).
Honda isn't focusing on the tuner market... but they should. They should make their cars tuner friendly, with plenty of power and class out of the box. Even the non-tuners seem to be influenced by the tuner mentality, and want a car that looks "custom". The horsepower wars are on, so underpowered and efficient doesn't cut it anymore. Efficiency is assumed on a Japanese car, and they're managing to make considerable power without sacrificing efficiency!
That being said... and going back to the original topic...
Bench racing is stupid. In the official racing forum here, it's actually not even allowed. If you want to find out who will win, go race. For a good estimate, consider the power to weight of each car. The car that makes the most hp per pound has the better advantage (though transmission gearing, tires, and driver ability are large factors. Driver weight, too, if it's a considerable difference. Accord R33 would be faster in my car than I would be, if our skills were even. He's a good deal lighter than I am!)

Soooo.... ti's92Accord......................
FIND OUT! and get back with us!
NOTE: its also a DRIVER'S race!....not just trim or model and make....its a DRIVER'S race. I have seen some Y8s take out some CBs..UNFORTUNATELY..the drivers of the CBs DIDN'T know how to shift correctly...shifting too damn late ( over-rev ) or too early ( under rev )
so its all on the driver's skills!Last edited by SN2BH22CB7; 08-09-2007, 11:06 AM.92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!

i used to own a 90 civic dx hatch about 50% gutted, DOHC ZC motor, I/H/E, and an SI tranny and that car kept up with my brothers 91 ex cb7 with the f22b1 with ex tranny until 3rd gear the accord started to pull on me.
ninja edit: and the accord is the on in my sig, which i own now.Originally posted by jboycei f'd this girl last night i hadnt seen in a while...used to be cute, but when i had her naked lying on my bed i noticed she had gained alot of weight and looked like a manatee rolling around on my bed.

civic will win 1/4 but then on highway different story. I remember when I had my 99 SI Coupe with SOHC Vtec D18y8 (since my B16 threw a rod) had hard times pulling from 80 and on but eventually pulled away barely around 120 but the f22a6 i ran was modded as well intake header and exhaust while i was just STOCK. but in all, its a drivers race.either kill it or drift it...
