Flowtech Raptor Muffler

Ok , I searched and found not much about this certain item. I saw this muffler at an autozone for I think 22 bucks. If any of you already know how it looks, it doesnt have an extended pipe, just the aluminum box. I wanted to know would it be worth buying that?. I mean still I'd have to buy an additional pipe myself right?. At that I have to weld it too, I think might be wrong..

Your on the rite page on weldin it on. i dont pay attention to Autozone mufflers. but it looks decent it prolly will sound a lil louder than stock. jus have the exhuast shop weld on 2.25 from cat with tht muffler and ull b ok.

Oh ok I see now.. So this particular muffler is ok, as far as decent performance goes?. Then after the welding is done all I need is a good tailpipe and i'll be good?

You know, after you get the mufler, then find a shop that willing to put it on, and pay for them to do so, you could probubly find a basic cat back exaust system that requires no welding, measuring or cutting. it took me 1 hour to get my old exhaust off, and a new one on in my driveway. Plus, you dont get to much in the way of performance from just puting on a cheap mffler. Youll be much happier if you went for a cheap cat-back.

Wow haha, you revived this old topic. lol jk but, yea, thats been over with, I went with an apexi n1 and had that welded on. I changed my header and downpipe, but everything else on the exhaust is the same.. thanks for the info tho!
