Trying to get a meet going in The Huntsville area. A thread was started and referred to late May. Anyone in Nashville can get here in an hour so Can B-ham Al. I know of some places V-Dubs go but if we do it here we can go on the mountain. Anyone interested?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Decatur Al. has a covered/open parking area where VW meets go on and they get 200-300 cars every time! We must represent Hondas around here. I don't care if its just all Hondas and we have them grouped in individual models. BTW before my illness I owned a GTI w/twice the cash in aftermarket upgrades than I do in the CB7 and I'm approaching $7,ooo as we speak. I love the old school feel with all the comforts of newer cars! V-Dubs are for Yippies and posers!

There was a Honda meet last summer at the offices complex close to UAH, Around 35-40 cars from all over the area attended. Only 2 cbs though: mine and another guy who had a white boosted F22A. Most of the other cars where civics and tegs, with a couple of ludes.
It was pretty cool. I had never seen so many nicely done Hondas here in Huntsville, all at one spot like that.
The same meet will be taking place this year. I don't think a date has been set as of yet. Here's the thread on hsvracing:

Maybe we can get a couple of cbs from the area and meet up there?

Just checked out the site. Seems its on May 20th 1-5pm @ the Sparkman Executive plaza across from UAH. I'm in. Hell mine looks like crap and I'll take it there. I just want some ideas and local connections.Palinix we can follow each other in and just set up a CB7 area since I can toss a disc across the street and hit your car (not that I would do that)! I was in the Nashvegas area from 2003 -2005 running a BMW325 and my V-Dub GTI. I saw a lot of hondas but mainly civic/tegs so, Trickedaccord92 the more the better. Free admission and free refreshments. Anybody else just add to this thread or PM me...

Yeah I'm definitely going to be attending! It would be great if we could get a group of cb7s together for this meet and rep the ever underestimated cb7 accord.
I'll send PMs to the other bama members who were interested in meeting up from that older thread we had.
EDIT: there was some discussion in the Honda Meet thread on hsvracing, on page 2, that there was some other major event taking place (import face off) on the same day, so the date may be changed. I guess we'll have to keep following the thread to see if the meet sticks to the original date.Last edited by palinix; 04-26-2007, 01:55 AM.
