ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

He's a ricer, or what do they call them, a wheat burner.

He's a troll, and an uneducated fool.

He can't see past his limited knowledge, and he is confused because he listens to other people without understanding them, but chooses to speak anyways.

He destroys his own argument time and time again, and he's clearly not very intelligent or mature.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

he's just a hater, its mostly ambiguous, he's missing a few key points, or false

drive by a few car dealerships and what do you see? mostly japan
        who's got better resale value?
who's cars last longer? our cb7s at 200,000 miles and going on stock parts?
so what if domestics have v8s - they paid for it and will in the future - gas and tickets...
umm i can go on for years, but so can this discussion between domestics vs. imports etc

why do most asian people drive hondas? go to an asian temple, gauranteed 90 percent all hondas why??? word goes around and is proved to last sucka bitch!

i feel flattered because he wrote a whole honda hatting page. hes probably been walked by a few hondas. he talks about that olds 4 banger with 190hp and 165 ft tq but doesnt talk about a type r b18 c5? i have nothing against domestic cars now at age 25. before when i had my da integra when i was 18 i didnt like american cars id always go look for a 5.0 to pick on. then got my cai dc/sports headers/full catback skunk2 cams and coilovers. then had more fun walking them, time went on i got oldder after having 3 hondas 1 acura and 2 nissans in 7 years ive grown up to respect domestics hell i would like to own a 1996 impala ss for the weekends. people like this need to grow up.

P.s. I still hate mustangs tho,my dad gave me his 89 5.0 when I was 18. I sold that p.o.s and saved up a $1500 more(didn't even drive it) and got my first cb7(1991 burgundy ex coupe).

All the things that he calls "hype" can easily be turned into convincing arguments. He's using facts about American cars to support his own opinion of Hondas.

100hp per liter IS impressive from an NA engine. He acts like comparing turbo engines to NA Hondas is a valid option...

The only people he makes a valid case against are the true ricers. The ones that think a fart can on their CX really DOES make it a rocket. Hondas are not meant to be fast from the factory. They are meant to be efficient and reliable, and they are both. They are meant to be affordable, and they are. The Civic was marketed to fairly low-income single people. The Integra was aimed at middle-aged, middle-class single women (yes, I have researched this). The Accord was geared towards middle-class families. Honda didn't REALLY start producing expensive cars until the Acuras started taking on the letter names. Honda itself is just now starting to produce cars that have considerably high pricetags.

You can't compare an NA Honda motor to a performance V8... especially with the American straight-line performance mentality. OF COURSE a V8 is going to be faster stock, and cheaper to make faster. But are you going to drive that V8 to the track? Are you going to have enough gas to drive home afterward? Does that matter? Not in terms of straight line performance, but I like the fact that my car isn't a terror to drive on the roads!
Honda guys say "my car will outhandle your car"... which, in many cases, may be true... However, there are some domestics that handle VERY well. late 80s and early 90s F-bodies (camarobirds) are very successful in autocross.

A guy like that is just tired of hearing other people's opinions... so to "shut them up for good", he's voicing his own, superior opinion!

BTW, I have an American pushrod engine. It's very nice. It makes about 120ft/lb more than the H22... but I miss the hell out of the Honda.
