Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    problom with vtec working

    my friend did a h22 swap for me and everything is fine beside vtec dont want ito kick n ...does anyone have any knowlage of this problom if so could you help me out???? idont know much about cars but would like to know why the vtec is not working.. i just bought the motor and trans ,should not be having this problom..also think there is a problom with electrical because dash lights and tail lights dont work.could this be the reason??

    Is he throwing any CEL. WHat ECU are you using. You need a p13 for the h22a. IF your using stock accord one its not gonna work.

      he is using the ecu that came with the package i bought im not sure if its p13 but i ordered complete h22 package and everything is h22 ... i bought it from tigerjapanese.com

          Its not the stock ECU then which ecu is it? Is he throwing any CEL. DId you guys wire it up correctly.

            it came with the h22 so its the p13 if thats the ecu needed for h22 ...not sure ??my friend is the mechanic i just dont want him to give me back my car without vtec wtch is the whole reason i bought the engine for.. what is the cel?? where is it located?? i will explain to him.whitch im sure he knows ,just dopnt want to pay him for a non vetec swap when it is vtec..hes saying its done but i dont want it back with out vtec

              drove it around the block today with him all i hear is intake,tail lights are out and front light outalready got a ticket and its not even done ...lol

                    check your oil level.. i kno when they're low on oil the engine wont activate VTEC... other than that i kno my friendhad this problem n resolved it but i gotta get in touch with him..

                      im sorry the p0f ecu came with the package is this the reason why?? p0f does not work for h22???

                        WIth my experience and a couple other people on here the P0F doesnt like to run the h22a. Buy a p13 and that will solve it. I think I know a person that might be selling his if your interested.

                          Added: H22A, South Bend TZ Series Clutch, Fidanza (8lb) Flywheel, Megan 4-1 Headers

                            whats up everyone, i did the swap for Daaccord...i check oil level and everything is good, i got a stock p13 running the car now, and vtec still wont engage, its throwing a cell for a code 6...ECT sensor, i switched the sensor and vtec still wont work, everyhting is wired correct also..

                              Is it warmed up when you try it? VTEC won't work before the car is warmed up properly.

                              Did you do all the wiring correctly? I know it's a dumb question, but if it's not working, SOMETHING isn't right!
