ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

110mph in my '88 prelude S (who said carbs are dead? )
    100mph in the CB7
Other than that I rarely hit over 80mph, no safe places around here. Too much traffic and crappy roads.

Yes, but it takes a lot. The faster you go, you need exponentially more power to accelerate. On the show Top Gear, they said the Veyron only needs ~170 HP to get to ~150 MPH. To get to 253MPH, it needs all 1001 HP.

                speed and distance

the fastest speed that i have driven was on a 1985 FZ750 which was bored out and featured in cycle canada (nov 86 i think)...Anyway, it was fast and i got to 148 MPH before running out of road.

In a car, the fastest was in a Porsche 944...125 MPH FUN TO DRIVE!!!

                What about distance, fellas?

My longest day of driving was 2200 km in 20 hrs. ALONE, just me and a CB listening to truckers.

On a bike (my BMW F650), I drove 1600 km in one day. That was from Little Rock, Arkansas to Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I was going through a tank of fuel every 77 minutes.

                I LOVE DRIVING

1990 Accord EX 220,000 KM. Essentially stock with 15" alloys and chin spoiler added. K&N filter and Bosch plugs. ICE COLD A/C which I love!

1992 white EX 4 dr, 5 spd. (602,000 Kms and I JUST RETIRED IT. SO SAD!) DEC 9TH, 2005 - MAY 31, 2012. I added 229,000 kms to it. Great car!

                  I thought 1,000 was 249 mph that's what I read.

Those are insane distances for both car and bike in that short a period of time.

We need to start a thread to see who done most miles/kms in one trip
