Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Hood Stuck

    Hey,

    Some one tried to steal my motor....I dont know who....but my main concern is getting my hood to open. They disconnected the cable so that, when I go inside my car to pull the "Hood Opener"....it just flops...

    How do I get my hood to open? I made the mistake of showing people where my car is parked with the motor in it.

    Word of advice...If you plan on selling your motor/car, make sure you have a garage, otherwise...dont show people where you park your shit. My exhuast was also stolen (greedy evo 2)...DAMN THIEVS!!!

    maple knows all about this, he said u can pull it from inside the fender some how

      Remove the driver side front splash guard up at the top the cable runs down the fender and into the side of the car. I'd try just yanking on the cable. If that doesn't work. Cut it and strip some of the insulation and pull the cable with pliars.

        Smash your grille, remove the 3 10mm bolts holding the latch on, and you can open the hood with the latch still attached.

        Pull the damn engine, Lam! I might want to buy it from you, if you can go low enough on the price. Money in your pocket is better than an H22 sitting around doing nothing but tempting thieves!

          Damn thieves...i Soo wanna catch em red handed and literally kick their asses...or even shoot em. PISSES ME OFF...i've had a history on thieves. BTW, j/w how would they steal your heavyass motor?
