ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Noob here!

    Hey all,

I'm on a couple other boards and have even received a few emails saying to come over here and join up. SO, some may be familiar with my ride:
    92 Accord LX-Turbo:

    (^kit is for sale )

    ^Vid of the beast
On 8psi I was able to run a 14.5 @96. My tires were TERRIBLE though, I could've squeeked another tenth or 2 with better tires. On 12-14psi the car is ridiculous. I never had the chance to run it again on high boost but I feel it could've broke into the 13's without a struggle. Before you flame me for assuming, I've been drag racing for almost 10 years now, I have a good idea of whats what on the track.

Here's some of my other cars I own:
95 Neon ACR, lots of NA mods with a 75 shot of NOS:

    03 Matrix XR-Turbo:

    ^The Matrix in action

I also own a 98 Impreza with a WRX swap, 03 SpecV, 07 Yaris, 71 Roadrunner (maybe a twin turbo setup soon).

I'm also into racing Go-Karts, RC Cars, Slot Cars, Snowboarding and custom Fiberglass and Paint work. All of the painted parts you see on my Matrix were all fabricated and painted by me.

          Awesome!

Did you know that the F22A head probably flows better than the H23 head?

And how come you're going with a block guard, and not full sleeves? You may have issues with cylinder warpage with the guard.

Finally, turbo exhaust is better at 3" for a 2.2L

In all, it's still a decent setup! I built a turbo kit for a beater 92 DX I picked up, and it was absolutely horrible in comparison to your setup. I smashed up the car before I had a chance to install it though.

I know 3" is better but I already have the 2.5 from before so I'll just leave it. My friends Turbo Colt made almost 400whp with a 2.5" exhaust

I dont want to tear the block all the way down, send it out for sleeves, then get forged internals. WAY to expensive. An F22 from a local salvage yard is 250, I'll just buy another when it dies.

I've heard the exact oppositte about the H23 head. Time will tell I guess.....

Either way, you should make some nice power with that. That auto trans won't hold out for too long, though! The Accord 5 speed is pretty strong, but the automatics can't take too much abuse before they go (and since you're already boosting, I would think it's already getting pretty tired)

The great thing about these cars is that parts are so common. Hell, I sold a complete F22A for $50 when I swapped, trans and all!

What do you plan to use for fuel management?

                Its 5speed mang

                My Matrix is an auto.

I tuned with Crome before. I'll prolly stick with that since I bought Crome Pro. I have an Ostrich, Chip burner and all that crap. I've tuned prolly 2 dozen cars now, NA and turbo cars.

FG and bondo. No way you can just FG something and get it to come out that smooth.

The accord made 200whp and 250wtq at 10psi. I couldnt hold boost to redline on high because of a leaking downpipe and a clutch on the way out. The next time I took it to a dyno they set it up wrong and toasted my clutch and #2 cylider

When it died, I decided to go bigger on the next setup. So selling this kit will get me some money for other parts I need still.

Edit: OH, and those gauge pods are 2" PVC pipe FG'd in place
