actually my car probaby has the same length of piping and had a huge muffler. take a look at an mr2 exhaust system thats stock...

can someone give me a hand, or at least some cars to show that accord's don't suck?

Why argue, I go to so many forums and see this crap all the time go faster your car is a good car while it can be modded and cool none of those guys on that forum are going to be nice to you, I own a lot of fords including mustangs and if I mentioned anything about my cars exaust or taking the muffler off on this forum everyone would flame me and tell me my cars a piece of shit without even seeing it. anyways I had a 89 civic with no muffler, It was really loud and raspy but I liked the sound, I even got it smogged so I would go and take off the muffler. so the rule of thumb is if your car is a accord you should post only in accord forums and not some racing forum where there will be many makes of cars and more chances for people to argue with you. if I want to talk about my mustang I don't come here. in fact just mentioning I got a 4th gen accord on the 3rd gen accord site got two members saying how 3gs are faster, my god people are stupid.

i think the whole "person who started this thread" thing was directed more like this:

you ARE proud of what you drive, so you just gotta accept the fact that no matter what kinda car you drive, theres gonna be groups of ppl out there gettin on your case and making fun of you and trying to find anything at all to make fun of you for on your car.

an accord, in particular, is laughed at by many people. i can see where they are coming from, yeah yeah yeah, an accord is a "family" vehicle looked at by most people as a POS grocery getter.

but thats what i joined this forum for, i saw that people besides me actually appreicatted ab7s and saw they can be modded and tuned to be pretty damn fast, and we just love the way they look. most of us love rockin oem shit, thats how much we appreciate these accords, but there are cars some of us dont like, just like any other forum you go on.

before i ramble any more, im just gonna wrap this up:

NO MATTER where you go or what youre into, there are going to be countless other opinions about what your doing, some positive, some negative. and you just gotta take it into consideration that there are different walks of life all over the place, "to each his own", and if someone aint diggin what youre into, it shouldnt affect the fact that youre into it. like dont let anyone change the way you think or what you like.

As for this topic... who cares? Some asshat with an MR2 doesn't like Accords... big deal. He doesn't see the potential. That's fine. We don't need to defend ourselves against closed minded people.
