Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    i want to put the H22 in my cb7 i dont want to have it done by a mechanic

    i have a 90 2dr 5 speed is it a bitch to put the H22 in i know it fits with all stock motor mounts is it worth a mechanic or should i do it for the exp. i do know a few ppl that know wut their doing but i dont think they know its a jap engine does that really matter?? HELP

      Read the swap faq...If you dont have the proper tools I would say dont attempt it at all unless you can find some people on this board in the regionals section to help you out. But if you dont have experience I wouldnt attempt it and swapping in just the h22a requires more than just swapping it in...You also need to change other stuff its optional but I would rathe do it with motor out.

        don't you also have to swap the auto tensioner out for a manual one, i heard it has to do something with a belt otherwise you risk blowing your engine.

          its worth getting someone who already really knows what they are doing.. trust me. even if it takes a while.

            all you need is a set of deep sockets, from 10mm to 19mm. a ratchet that fits. maybe a breaker bar, a 36mm axle nut socket and a hoist.

            hell you dont even need a hoist. a strong tree, ropes and a few pullies will do just fine.

              Ahh yes the power of pullies and no you dont have to swap it out. Im still running the auto tensioner and no problems yet.
