Me and my friend rented a mustang gt covertable we did some doughnuts and we were driving and this light came on. It was orange and it looked like a water pump. Also I looked under the gas peddle there was a black thing is that like a black box on top that tells the speed and rpm. Thanks.

ID have to see a picture. Most rental car days have a GPS deal where they can track you and monitor what your doing such as the black box you mention. As for the symbol i would have to look at the thing but you did something to the engine by the sound of it.Originally posted by accordoholic

oh man you're screwed, i once did donuts in a rental car and the same thing happened to me, a week after i returned the car they sent me a bill with a repair bill totaling 700 dollars. boy was i pissed.
