thats not true at all... they are 100% legal in every one of those states.

buy a radar detector, and read it's warranty and manual... it will clearly state where it is not legal to use a radar detector (only Virginia and DC as of 2005)

where did you get this from...i know that radar detectors are legal in most of those states...i believe the only places that radar detectors are illegal in is Delaware and Virginia.

Police scanners however are illegal in most places...there is a difference here people between scanners and radars.

they are legal everywhere except VA, washington DC, and miltary bases... that list is not true

yea radars are legal in Nebraska I'm sure of it. I was in the car with my dad and we were headin over towards colorado and the thing went off but my dad was goin to fast to slow down to the speed limit. Cop pulled us over looked directly at the thing said nothing and handed my dad the ticket. He drives a 1987 944 turbo

Actually that's what you said the first time, radar detectors are still legal in most the states you posted. That website is bullhonky.

Currently the only state that it is illegal to operate a radar detector is Virginia and Washington D.C.

radar detectors are illegal in virginia and washington dc only. radar scramblers are illegal everywhere. but laser dectectors and laser scramblers are not illegal yet, however laser scramblers are about $700 so look at spending alot to know where cops are shooting.
