ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

As cool as this is, I would be careful, it seems like you have a good setup with time logging and stuff, I also hope you have spotters for oncoming cars. I'm sure the track/road racing scene in HI is slim so you have to make due with what you have, but like I said, be careful brother.

So how do you ensure that there aren't any other drivers coming the other way?

When we do this at night we gotta be attentive to oncoming lights usually a good sign, but anyone coming can hear and see the lights tire smoke engine revs etc. loud exhaust. So the take their own cautions.

We have spectators also acting as spotters we use walkies to communicate and if the spotter needs they can try to stop the other traffic to hold them till we pass as sometimes they just appear mid slide action. But we have a dedicated lookout also further down to warn if COPS or other Officials show up giving atleast a chance to NOT be caught red handed in the act. We try to be organized and safe as possible doin these wild out of control illegal type fun shizz. Our Local race track got shut down and been closed for years with no site of another one being built any time soon so we have no choice but to play in the streets. We got a system down, like if anyone should breakdown or wreck we have a select hunch that will have the necessary tools/parts for on site repair and or recovery or tows.

Trust it gets very interesting at times. Theres been guys go off, cars catch fire, ball joint breaks, tire blow outs, engine blow ups, or even natural random trees falling or rare but occassional wild life getting into roadway bad timing. We also at best try to keep the place clean throw our trash in respectable locations, not leaving any tires or car parts, etc. I mean we all wanna fun as well as advance in skills but we also need to respect our home our course the land and nature as well as the residents of the location. I dont have control 100% of everyone else but i try to keep it at good standing. We hold safety meetings and discussion before and after we do this sorta thing. Theres important do's & donts as far as spectating spotting parking yelling where to safely spectate what to do if anything happens etc. we all need to know the lingo in communicating sometimes walkies dont catch or cant hear so back up light flashes or horn taps etc. NOBODY wants to wreck, or kill anyone, and we surely dont set out to do so but know the risks are there
