ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Time to stop lurking and post.

Well, I'm John, the new guy that now owns his first CB7. I officially joined the forum on 1/14 a few days prior to picking up my 93 EX sedan. I've lurked in the shadows for the last week actually reading rules/sticky posts because well, that's what the mods/admins expect to be done but I've been one to see where that hardly ever happens. The more knowledge I (and you!) have about the forum the better the community can become.

The last GREAT venture with a vehicle I had was a 2001 mint Acura Integra GSR. I promptly wanted to gather knowledge from people that had much more than myself so I became a member of the Team-Integra forum. I made some life long friends and gained a vast amount of knowledge because of that community. I knew upon getting this CB7 that I wanted that sort of familiarity again. I only hope that I will be able to transfer some off my knowledge to the CB7 forums.

My first honda was actually a 1988 CA coupe while a senior in high school. Irresponsibility, laziness and a lack of knowledge about cars led to its demise.
I then owned a '90 EF Civic hatch, which lasted a few years until an unknown and very inconveniently timed death. BUT...
That lead me on the hunt for a new car where I found my beloved DC2 GSR (may good rest her sweet, vtec soul). I put thousands upon thousands of miles on that car, made plenty of upgrades and cherished that car...
A few more years of no cars worth mentioning, lead me to buy one off of my best friend. The CB7, as he no longer needed it. She definitely needs some work, but I knew that taking on a 22 year old car.

I have done some extensive reading throughout these forums and have some interesting plans intended for this daily driver of mine. I look forward to sharing some NEW DIY's here with you guys soon as well. Once of course I get over the 30 post hump. But, I've got plenty of time for that.

Thanks for reading the rules. It really does make our jobs as moderators much easier. This forum is awesome. There is so much information here. Not just relative to Accords, but to Hondas and Honda engines in general. Many Google searches on H-series engine topics lead you to this site. It's had an awesome life so far and with the continued contributions from new members will continue to be that way for even longer to come.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

I've moderated a couple of forums in my day (non-car), so I totally understand the struggle is real. If everyone would just read rules and most sticky posts they would be SO much better off. They just don't understand how much time that saves them and in turn saved the mods.

And thanks for the welcome everybody.

Probably just due to the wall of text. I felt more was needed to introduce myself than just a "o hai guyz" sort of post. I'll probably post some pictures of the EX and some work I'll have done to it soon enough. Thought about holding out for 30 quality posts before doing so, but we'll see.

And in no way could I run a forum for 10+ years.
