Hey, probably should make this introductory post eventually.
I'm a 24-year-old engineering student from Chicago. Haven't owned a car since switching to bikes in 2011 (city living). Now I'm back in school, finishing up my degree and working for a church on campus.
As for the car, it's a 92 LX wagon, and it's been a love/hate affair since the first day I saw her. I've always been a fan of 80s/90s styling, and this generation of accord kind of just spoke to me. I owned a couple EF civic hatchbacks, and have always had an eye for this accord wagon. It was purachased new by an old lady, and my friend had inherited it in high school. I always wanted it, and when it developed starting problems at 99k, I more or less stole it for $300. I had two cars already at the time (one of which was a fantastic little EF hatch that I was swapping a 3-stage D15B into), so it sat for a couple months until I decided to be charitable and "loan" it to a poor family from church. I signed the car over to them under the condition that they would give it back to me after they had found other transportation.
A couple months later, their daughter was driving the car and, like and idiot, texting. She texted the CB right into the back of another car. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
She managed to rear end ME in my freshly-swapped EF, totaling it. Needless to say, I was furious. But, since I knew her family couldn't afford the increased insurance premiums, I let it go without filing a claim.
So, in one fell swoop, this stupid B-word crashed two of my cars, totaling the freshly-built one, and mangling the front end of the other (which, until then was absolutely MINT)
Fast forward a couple of years. After a summer of driving around the mangled, bumperless accord, she managed to systematically ding up all four doors, crack the windshield, then leave it to rot in her driveway. This is how I got it.

Needless to say, not happy. No rust (amazing for a 20+year old Chicago car), but still in very sad shape. No structural frame damage, but the front top of the radiator support seems to be pushed in slightly, enough to prevent the lights and grille from lining up properly.
I straightened out the sheet metal as best as I could, got a headlight and grill, and hung it on the car until I can straighten the radiator support and properly mount it all.
I called her "Donatello" once and it's stuck.
