I believe with proper maintenance every cb will run for a loooong time. The f22ax is a work horse, lower compression combined with good breathing makes it age gracefully. Any Honda with a standard transmission is the most reliable dollar for dollar. Cb's have decent auto trannys though 9 out of ten cb's in the junk yard are auto. You can use the yard to tell how good a car is. The whole domestic section is full of year 2000 era. A 2001 civic at the yard gets gutted in a week. And then there are none.
My cb has 340,000 miles. Stuff wears out .I'm pretty sure every nut/bolt and screw has been removed at least once. I would still give it a 9. Though I've replaced a lot of parts you could not put 340,000 miles on a Chevy malibu if you towed it.
