Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Beginner Forum

    I can understand why this forum has the beginner section for multiple reasons. Only being able to post in this one section of the forum has me pissed off at times. I have already caught myself turning to Honda Tech again. I think the 30 post rule is bs i have posted in many threads and only have a post count of 4 that just plain sucks.

    The way you said all that struck me funny!

    Just keep at it. Help people with what you do know. If you don’t know just search and post a link to the correct info. Use people not searching to your advantage.

    I was anxious to get my membership too. I couldn’t wait to start an MRT. But it took a few days.

        Hell I did it twice.....just before the crash, and once after it...it's not hard to do.

          It took me a about 3 weeks to get there. Just take your time and good things will come.

                You seemed to be concerned that your post count was 4, I was simply trying to show you why that might be. If you post in the beginner Off Topic or Image Gallery, then your post count doesnt go up. If you post lots of random, short messages obviously just trying to get to the minimum, your count gets set back to zero.

                    What difference does it make?

                    You can read the regular members forum you just can't post in there. I don't get it.
                    I've been a member for eight years and have 320 posts. That's an avg of 3.3 posts a month.

                        Its just flat ass dumb imo that is what i was trying to state. Once again it is my opinion and the rules are the rules. I was just stating my opinion. Some of you girls have your panties all bunched up over something dumb. haha

                        I just dont think it should take 30 post to be able to carry or a convo in other threads(THAT ARE "ADVANCED TOPICS"). I have been in honda scene longer then most and have built show quality race cars, but what ever the rules are the rules. It will just take for ever it seems to get out of the beginner section it feels like.

                          If you've built show cars, and been in the scene longer then most, then you should have a fuck ton of information to hand out to people who are just getting into the scene(which is most of the new registrations now actually)

                          One of the reasons there is a 30 post limit, is to keep people from scamming us.

                          No one is going to sit around and post 30 good knowledgable posts in order to do a hit and run with someones cash.

                          If you had read the rules you probably would have caught that bit.

                          Honestly, when people make threads like this(and I understand its your opinion, and you are welcome to share it here) we tend to lose respect for them.

                          There are like 1000 active members on here every day, and we ALL had to do the 30 post thing...

                          it took me around a week or so....

                          I couldn't wait to fucking post with the big boys, esp in the DIY section which is what made me sign up, but I knew that being a new guy I had to respect the rules and just did what I had to do, it really isn't that hard.

                          All these posts you just wasted could have been used building your PC buy posting worthwhile stuff in the tech beg sections.

                          I don't know man, we just don't like complainers.

                          If we take away the 30 post rule, then the next thing you know your going to start complaining when you can't find shit that is easily found by searching.

                          By hanging around until 30 posts, you get to know who's who, and how the forum works and it protects you as well as us.
