Porsche Boxster (not sure what year, but older, for sure) around a tight highway exit ramp in my Fit. It was a young kid in a superior car, but he couldn't find a good line. I was behind him, and easily shot past him as soon as we cleared the exit of the ramp. My exit speed was at least 10mph greater than his. He was NOT happy about it. Caught me 2 miles later do to a flyby.

I also had a newer GTI (current model, I believe) following me on a twisty road while I was at work. I was just enjoying the drive, not really pushing the car. Front tires are scary bald. I didn't realize that the GTI was trying to match me in the corners until I saw him do a late turn-in with too much speed, and go skidding into the opposite lane (no cars coming, thankfully.) I slowed down so the dumbass wouldn't kill himself trying to hang with me.


Not many straight-line kills in the CB7 to brag about, and most of my serious twisty driving has been honed in the Fit.

With my slushbox, I was dead even with an '05-'10 Mustang V6 from a roll . Otherwise it's just laying waste to a bunch of slow beaters that challenge me because I put the "DOHC VTEC" quarter panel stickers on my car. I've taken a few lifted-diesel-tool pickups.

My greatest experiences have been in the canyons, if that counts. I once lost some kind of sport bike. I was just cruising along, barely above the speed limit, when he came up on me all fast. So I went for it. I guess I was just braver in the corners. An o.g. MX-5 once came up on me too, but he was on me everywhere but the straights. A couple winters back I chased after a Golf on a snowy canyon road. Mostly uphill. Now that was fun. I couldn't quite keep pace, but what an event! And when the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (2010) was over and everyone was leaving, I caught up to a modded AE86 about halfway down the mountain. A road guard guy said both lanes were free to use, so we were on it, weaving through the heavy spectator traffic. I actually overtook the guy, but he probably (intelligently!) just decided it was better for everyone's safety if we stopped racing. My brakes were absolutely fried when I reached the bottom.

Me: JDM H22A, Accord tranny, Spoon header, stock-sized Magnaflow muffler + resonator delete, AEM intake, Bisi thermal IM gasket, Tein S-techs.

s2000 run in the 14 sec, i'v seen GT500 stangs run in the 15-16 range with a bad driver, GTR IDK

My friend's 2000 audi a4 1.8t

We were at a stop light which led to a wide turn and I had the outside lane at midnight coming back from the movies.

Didn't help that I had great tires and he had over 200k miles with an oil leak.

s2000 run in the 14 sec, i'v seen GT500 stangs run in the 15-16 range with a bad driver, GTR IDK

15-16 's thats 3-4+ secs slower than a new baseline 5.0 lol. Kids not out running any of those cars expect a s2k which isn't ment for straight line speed to start with. The new v6 stang is a low 14sec car even high 13s. The "NEW" Gt 500 has yet to come out anyway but 16s in a 450whp car ='s terrible driver.

Anyway when i first got my car i ran head to head with a auto h23 swapped cb, a 2000+ GT v6 eclipse and spanked a 420a eclipse.

around here in reading pa i spank civics, preludes and acuras all day with my stock f22a1 i only lost to one car and it was a rhd 240 on boost.
