ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

holes won't match up, it's not as round as accord bumper.

the sides were a big factor, they go straight out instead of curving with the bumper.. if I bent the sides in - it would leave a huge gap

Most people who fit a legend lip on their accord use a heat gun to cause the lip to fit they way they want and the holes don't line up. You will have to drill your own through the bumper. This has been covered a few times on here.

This. When installed my Legend lip, i drilled holes to accommodate the the new bolts and washers to my bumper. Often times i read threads where people use self tapping screws or wood screws to secure the lip to their bumper.

Of course the holes won't match up. A Legend is not an Accord.

Lol it's the only way if you wanna match-up the OEM holes on the bumper. Otherwise , you need to slap in alot of self-tapping screws.

A lot easier if the bumper was off.

Flip it over on the floor, don't scratch it

Put lip on. Useeeeeeee mini clamps if u have then to hold it in place.

Drill some holes with matchin bolt and screw.. w/e u wanna use

U will b fine. Its drillin holes thru plastic not a heart transplant man. , see if u can find a 2dr legend lip, fits perfectly. Still need 2 drill some holes. My sig pic has it.

So I'm curious where you got the idea to get the legend lip from, because if it was from here, I'm sure you would have already read you have to make it fit into th CB bumper. Or are you just jumping on the bandwagon cause it's the cool thing?

Just to be clear, you do NOT need to use a heat gun at all to install the lip. I didn't need one and neither did many others. Although it DOES help, but not required.
