ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Honda Forum reported racer to cops

Interesting story I thought I would share with you guys. The synopsis is a guy was street racing his 6th gen Accord and got wrecked. No one got hurt, only the car was jacked up. 6th gen forum didn't think he should walk away unscathed.

Wow...douchebags, every one involved in that situation lol.

I can't believe the police weren't already involved, spinning out on a 4 lane road...with a bunch of traffic...in broad daylight. You'd think someone would have called that in, apparently not.

Im on that forum. And I concur with the group. He's a young, dumb, irresponsible, punk kid. Not only was there video moments before he crashed but there are other videos of him street racing. He deserves everything he got and then some.

            No J35 in a 6th gen.

I agree with the forum members, and I'd probably be in the lead of a group doing the same thing to a member here. Racing like that is dangerous and irresponsible. Not only does it put the driver at risk, and all those that are potentially in his path... but it also results in stricter laws against responsible tuners.

I'm glad the guy wasn't hurt, but if he wants to talk publicly about his illegal activities, he should face whatever comes his way.

He swapped it in w/the 6 speed

I know of that dude, he was a big figure on V6P

Its funny cause Englishtown is not far, and there are two road courses within 90 minutes

But you know... people are idiots

Honestly the kid couldn't drive it was the slightest of corners to beginning with. And WE have all done some stupid shit and some still do, but after a wreck like that (sliding across traffic and bouncing off guard rails) if that don't scare some common sense into ya i doubt the cops slap on the wrist ever will. I grew out of my speed racer days haven't had a ticket in almost 4yrs, but before that i had numerous tickets even got 8 in one pop. A wreck such as his plus damages would straighten most up.

OT but lol at built "STI" looked more like fanboy wrx. Anyone see him racing himself when he was beside that T/A?
Kid is dangerous if he doesn't learn now he won't for many years. Racing people like that T/A that didn't even hammer it and the kid was still rolling into oncoming traffic like an idiot thinking he was racing and choose to keep it floored in a very busy and tight road.

The forum turning that guy in is no different that when some idiot posts a pic of their baby with a bong, and get turned in to social services.

If you are THAT stupid- you deserve it.

Ah, ok. I only skimmed... didn't notice that he had a swap.

But yeah, two road courses in NJ, not TOO far for anyone that is serious about racing their car.

The tickets he might get from the cops shouldn't be as much as a leason when skiding across a 4 lane back and forth atleast thats what my common sense would tell me long before the cops were involved. However he did post the video right afterwards which leads me to believe he has very little and didn't learn much from it that's the mentality when things get handed to you on a golden platter.

I deff agree with 6gaccord did with this guy. If the kid was smart he would have known not to even post that mess online. I am glad they turn this guy in he doesn't need to be on the road at all. I hope he and many other have learned their lesson from this.

The simple fact that he posted the video online shows that he’s an idiot. Totally with HappyGilmore on this. The internet is forever...
Never mind the fact that your reputation as a dangerous driver gets out. You could kiss any good graces with your neighbors goodbye. A kid I go to school with was racing his Accord against a buddy's Civic on a rural road last year. Kid driving the Civic spun the car 90mph in to a tree. Of course, the kid driving and his brother in the backseat were fine, but his girlfriend in the passenger’s seat was seriously hurt, to the point of having a traumatic brain injury. They had to cut the car to get her out.
Then, of course, some friends present at the race-turned-accident tried to cover up that it was a race, but somebody accidentally told to the truth to the high school paper. They tried to claim it was mis-quoted in the paper, blah blah blah. They were more worried about the police finding out that they had lied. Ironically, the newspaper advisor lives right down the street from the kid who wrecked the car. Unbelievable how stupid people can be.
