ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

No the motor can be swapped out of a stock k and left in stock form and still make more because that would be k-series money and made more out of the mods aside from the name. A modified K can be done right too if your not too much into the name brand it's been done. I wouldnt be surprised if the owner that sold him the car was doing just that with that 8k he recieved. What do you think?
Any swap can be risky. So much potential for installer-error.

And a near stock Evo for under 10k is gold. That's how to do it! It's rare to find near stock OR under 10k, let alone both!

Yeah that's true atleast he can swap his engine out of his car I can do neither with mine so he should count his blessings. If I had a choice I would rather leave my car stock as hell. With stage 2 cams the loping its a pain in the ass with the idle if your trying to get it to idle right but thats what tuners are for.

Could have bought alot of things but I am glad I got that civic. I was looking for k swaps before I found this, and when I found this I couldn't pass it up. I couldn't deal with the cb7 anymore and if I paid a little for some peace of mind cause I trust the motor because it is built by LHT this car is gonna have some life in it

Your right if you feel that way then go for it. But let me remind you no matter how well a motor is built it can still blow thats just the risk you take when you deal with built motors you know.

I'm not here to hate, and I think it's a very clean well put together vehicle. I personally couldn't have paid that much for that car. However, if the right car came along for me (not necessarily a Civic), I probably would move like you moved. I do understand if that car does it for you, then by all means you should have it in your possession.

On the other side of the coin, I can see people's argument. Way too many times have people inherited other's problems after buying a modified car. Hopefully you are the exception.

Just some food for thought... You could've had a clean stock LS1 Camaro with less than 75K miles for 8 grand.

                Nice car though.
