ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Because they've answer that same question more than 10 times, it gets old its like Alzheimer.
Imagine if you had to explain the same thing to 10 people or more, it takes patience and understanding.
As long as they stay active here that question will keep on getting askd, on the other hand, NEWB's please try not to sound like an idiot and rethink your question before you post.

As has been said before, this place a vast source fo knowledge. These cars have been around for 20+ years, there are literally THOUSANDS of members and this site has been around for damn near a decade. Im almost 100% certain in saying that any issue--ANY ISSUE--you have, has either happened to someone else, has been discussed, made aware, brought up, fixed, re-fixed, re-hashed, re-discussed and re-fixed again.
To put it simply, searching before asking will give a better response from said old members. Spend 5 minutes--five ACTUAL minutes, searching your problem. Search posts AND thread titles. If, at that point, you cant find an answer, then ask. But still, be prepared to be met with some sort of "sarcasm". Noobs dont know that these things have been discussed but they're also, more than likely, not very good at searching. Some of us are. Saying you searched and came up empty, will let us know that you at least put forth an effort. Some people come on and want to be spoon-fed. That's what us "old guys" dont like. We werent spoon-fed and you wont be either, lol.

What's a old timer? I don't think there's many of them left around. If they answer your Q's your very lucky....its mostly noobs answering noobs and there sarcastic because they really don't know eather. Just saying...... old timers have a completely different style and likely don't see the point in tucked styles ie they get sarcastic or tired of the same questions...

I'm going to answer this because I feel that this post is directed toward me.
I'm beating a dead horse by restating the previous site veterans' sentiment but 90% of the issues that we have with new people who need help could be resolved very easily. I'll use "you" when I'm referring to new people but don't take it to mean you, the OP, specifically. It just helps my comments flow better.
You get upset with us because your requests for help were met with an attitude instead of us re-explaining an issue thoroughly that we or others have already covered in the past. Those previous explanations don't magically disappear after a few days, they stay forever. They are always searchable, assuming the original members titled it properly.
You have to realize when you are new that this forum that you step into doesn't exist solely to help out new members. It's a community of enthusiasts who have poured a lot of time into building this site up into what it has become. Have you ever looked for a forum for a '93-'97 Nissan Altima? Sure, there might be one out there, but I guarantee you it doesn't operate like this one or have ANYWHERE NEAR the information. This site has become what it has because of a founder who was a true enthusiast, a member who didn't want to see something he loved dissolve and a lot of feedback and input from those of us who have been here for a while. Certainly newer people make contributions also. But a select few brought you what you have today. For that reason, you must respect that they have already answered these issues MANY times before. While the issue is new to you, being on here and having the ability to ask is a privilege. It's a privilege that's continually earned by following an etiquette or protocol of the site. We expect you to search. We expect you to be able to deduce an explanation for your issue yourself with the information you've gathered from that search. If for some reason your circumstance necessitates you make a new thread then we expect you to be thorough in your explanation and coherent in your typing. Yes you're new, but the concepts we get upset about have nothing to do with you being new. It typically has to do with you being lazy or disrespectful. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.
