ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I say upgrade the "necessary" things first, then worry about a $650 intake.

And yes I remember the days of living at home, not having a mortgage and just putting money into my cars. Those were great days. But now I lean towards looks and reliability. I would rather it look good and drive forever than possibly breaking down and not being able to drive it for an extended period of time.

It might be..... i just glanced at it.

As for messing with your bike, think of it this way. It is still winter in BC, you can't ride a bike this time of year. Mess MORE with you car. haha jk. We get a few nice days to ride this time of year.

What I wouldn't give to have any of your lives. I'm 57, had a triple bi-pass, and collect SSI. My wife has Muscular Dystrophy and since the place we lived in got sold (was apartment..then became a condo and then bank took it from owner and made us move) I had to rent a room and wife went to a convalescent per state law for people with o2 trach. Would love to use some of the money on the wagon, but I need to find a place I can afford (very impossible to find a place in LA for under $1200) and get my stuff out of storage...keep dreaming about your project and one day it will come to you that you are never done dreaming.

Well the car wasnt made for your everyday spirited driving style. The car is nice once you put about 15 grand or more in it in order for it to be complete to run with most sports cars to date. Then you will gain the hearts of others and a bit of envy from the haters it comes with the territory ohyeah and lets not forget the unwanted attention from the authoritive kind hehehe cops.

All and all I got my reputation from the cb7 and it all went uphill from there. I learned most of my basic knowledge from that car and it basically passed on to other cars I recently owned would I do it all over again yes. The experience to have knowledge off hand before anyone else is a wonderful thing when it comes down to cars when others are completely clueless. To sell it would be the easy way out stick to your car and learn it because once its done and your happy itll be even harder to let it go.
