ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I always thought the RSX-S had 220hp... now I'm even less impressed by it! I never cared for the RSX... Maybe because it lost the Integra name in the US, or maybe because it "girlified" the Integra in my eyes (sorta like Toyota did with the final Celica model.)

Agreed . Although they do look sexy if done up right . They also make wicked h.p. if boosted . My cousin has a nice ass one .I use to make fun of his RSX but now she makes 420/ h.p. so the funs over .

The RSX is okay, a bit too expensive for what they are IMO. The 3rd gen teg looks nicer to me. And for some reason I could have sworn there was a Honda RSX as well. Not the 4th gen honda integra but an actually RSX

You probably just saw local ricers putting H badges on their RSX.

The RSX is an Acura name, used only in markets that have the Acura brand. Elsewhere, it was the Honda Integra.

I don't believe there was ever a Honda RSX, or a 4th gen Acura Integra.

No not like that, but i know what you're taking about when they do that. It was on a honda website but it was probably wrong. I know there are only 3 gens of acura integra's and 1 gen RSX then.

They are a pleasure to drive. Plenty of power with basic mods IMO. Outstanding handling too with a few right mods. Very similar to 8th gen Civic Si with the Civic being a bit better car overall... which is probably PART of the reason why RSX was discontinued.

I almost bought one but didn't have enough cash at the time and decided to settle for a 3rd gen Integra. I don't regret it though.

that was pretty much it... the 8th gen Civic Si was given RSX-S abilities, and replaced the model. From what owequitit said when he test drove an RSX (and ultimately decided to buy an Si) was that it offered little visibility.

The first three Integra generations held much more charm for me. I don't know if it was the renaming of the model to the meaningless RSX name (not that Integra means anything, but at least it's a word... not just letters.) Or if it was the styling change to make it look more... I dunno... streamlined and wedge-like. I'm not even the biggest Integra fan, but the older ones had a real identity. The RSX never really meant anything to me. I didn't mourn it when it was discontinued... aside from the fact that it meant the end of the Integra line (and joined the Prelude, NSX, and S2000 in sporty Honda heaven...)
