ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

nah, just looks like it got sucker punched at the bar. I might even charge him less money if he'll let me keep some parts from the car, like the strut bar and hood struts.

I honestly think that the hit was not hard. All you need is another grill, tie the front radiator support to a tree and put it in reverse until it lines up right.

Perhaps you may want to get another hood if you want to as far as the bumper yup sanding required maybe even some jdm corners and you should be straight.

Well, here's what I did in a few hours.

Was able to straighten the hood decently. This way I did not have to paint and install another hood. The grille is fubar'd, so need a new one. Thought I had a spare, but I don't. Replaced the bumper signal, and was able to just replace the glass on the headlight. Put on the re-bar from my black bumper from the coupe, but as you can see, something is bent somewhere, causing the bumper to still have a bit of a slant in it.

I was amazed that I was able to get the lights, grile & hood to line up, but I need to see what's up with the bumper and why it's still slanted a bit, using a re-bar that I know is straight. As for the hood, had to bend it and bash it back into shape. Can't really do much with the dents. Might be able to pop the centre one though.

It's not perfect, but looks better than it did. Such a shame. This car has been through 2 accidents now. It's just not the same car anymore. Also, the alternator is pooched, and needs replacing, so I have to replace that, and the belt for him. I'll have the car all week, so I can slowly work on it after work.

With the repairs now, this guy is now $3000 into the SE. I might pay like $500-800 for it how it is now.

So this is what I had to start with

                  Re-bar off

                  Putting things back together

                  Pretty much done.

lmao yes, that's a jacked up van. It's pretty badass. The guy lives a few blocks over, but must be friends or something with the people across the street, as it's been parked there all week with a dead battery. I had to boost him the other day.

The spot on the left where the bumper bolts on is bent upwards. Thats why it will not align

His coupe is a base. Not a SE.

His coupe is also 5-speed manual while the SE is auto.

Mike, good job fixing it up. Dont buy it though...not unless you're going to strip it and through the black interior and suspension on your coupe.

The SE is a pile of shit now. It's been through 2 accidents, it's haggard and beat now. It's not the same car anymore. I have a much nicer, cleaner car than the SE ever was when I owned it. Hell, even my EX-R sedan was cleaner overall than the SE.

Honestly, if I was to buy the SE back, I would most likely part it out, replace it with stock items, such as a grey interior, and then clean it up and sell it stock for a cheap price.
