ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Why the high pitch sound when rpms raise?

Why is there a high pitch noise when the rpms raise? Is there a way to get rid of this? I have checked the grounds.

Why are you asking a question about your car in the Off Topic section?

And where is this sound coming from? The engine? The transmission? The speakers? Your ass? We're not in your car to hear it, so you have to give us some information.

So, is the sound coming from your speakers? Are you running a stock stereo and speakers? Does the sound happen with the stereo on or off? listening to the radio? CDs? mp3s?

need a little more information still....

It comes from the speakers when they are on. It happens when it is on cds, mp3s, and the radio.

            Made my day lol.

I might be off so don't quote me, but it may not be grounded right or two wires touching?

I'm also quite sure it's a wiring issue. Do you have an aftermarket CD player? I assume you do, since you mentioned MP3s. Are your wires spliced, or are you using an adapter harness? If the wires are spliced, go in there and make sure everything is properly shielded. If you used a harness (ALWAYS a better option than cutting your stock wiring), then make sure it's in good condition. It's possible that the harness is made of cheap materials, and the wire sheathing isn't all that great.

However, I occasionally get a whine from my speakers in my 09 Fit when my iPhone is plugged into the stereo system (via the line-in). I'm not sure if it's due to my currently failing OEM stereo, or the $5 wire I picked up from Wal Mart to connect the phone to the car.

Alright I checked it again today and I noticed it only happens when it is playing the radio. When my ipod is in or a cd is in it is fine. I have an aftermarket alpine stereo.
