ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    1/4 mile time low?

Will it's been like 12yrs that I have been to a track for drag racing. I had time for three runs my two best were 16.94_ and 16.975. My cb is 91 ex with a6 cam and ecu has 240k, cat back exhaust , stock intake box with h22 manifold ,5spd. Do these time look low for this set up? I know my best with my auto was a 15.6 but it had cai, header ,cam ,msd, exhaust but it had 175k.
Take a look at my MRT!! Thanks

What auto car did you have that ran 15.6? Mid to high 16's seems to be the norm for these cars.

My friend ran a 15.9 in his 93 LX with fewer mods, and a bit of weight reduction (basically, anything in the interior that could easily be taken out in about 20 minutes was gone... seats, door panels, console, stereo and speakers...) His car had about 80,000 miles at the time, and had been driven regularly, and maintained very well... so it was very strong. Basically, all he had was an AEM SRI, 2.25" crush bent exhaust, cheapie ebay header, and a test pipe. He also weighed about 150lbs.

He pulled a 15.023 in my car that same night with my H22 (though my H22 is in worse shape than his F22A1, and my clutch was slipping like crazy... it should've been capable of 14.7-14.8, at least with him driving, since he's light, and he can drive very well.)
