ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Kouzie had one that was modified, he may give some more input.

My mom had a 94 XLE V6 until about a week ago. She owned it for over 5 years with very little issues, from 160k-250k. The V6 doesn't get very good gas mileage, only about 18/23... which is the same MPG you could achieve in a diesel truck. The 4 cylinder is a little better on gas, but I don't know about real world mpg.

I'd look for a coupe if I were you. It's less common, sporty looking, and not the bland boring Camry most people have.

    2001 Honda CR-V SE RT4WD
    2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71

I saw a 5 speed Camry coupe in the junkyard a few months ago. It was sad.

Those Camrys are decent cars. It was around that time that Toyota's reputation moved from "cheap, reliable cars" to "nice reliable cars".

The camery came in a two door version? that's a new one to me because i have only seen sedans everywhere.

It was very uncommon. The Solara ended up being the replacement for the Camry coupe.

From the looks of things, we may be seeing a new Camry coupe in 2012!

Only if its a 6cyl. I drove a 4cyl around and it was super slow but the v6 can kinda dip.

They don't really push like a Honda, but if you just want an easy-driving comfortable car, go for it. If you go with a four banger you'll get pretty good gas mileage, too.

Are you in need of a car? If so, grab it. If it's mechanically sound, and not rusting out from under you, it's a good deal. If you don't need a car, and can afford to wait (or spend more for something better) do it.

If you're just picking one up to play with, 50/50 you're gonna flip it in a year or two if not sooner.

Flip it = buy and sell for a (potential) profit.

                          That's the general definition, anyway.

Simply, you're probably not going to keep it very long.

                              a 92 camry is only worth 1700.
If you are going to spend that much find another accord.
                              Maybe a se.
